PLANNED & SCHEDULED DATACENTER MIGRATION

Dear our Valued Customers,


As part of our continuous commitment to provide a better service and better hosting experience to our valued clients, we would like to hereby announce that there will be a major data center migration and consolidation exercise that will be carried out on 26th May 2012 (Saturday) at 6.00PM .

As with any migration project, our team will take all appropriate precautions to ensure minimal downtime during this transition. The physical move will take place between the hours of 6.00pm GMT +8 and 12.00am GMT +8 on Saturday 26th May 2012.

In the process, we will physically unplug the servers from present Cyberjaya Data Centers and transport them to the new data centers located at Technology Park Malaysia. A 5-9 hours of downtime is to be expected during the migration exercise. There will be changes of IP addresses to all hosting accounts / servers upon the completion of the new data center migration.


Shared Hosting Services :

1. There will be no action required from your end should your domain use our nameserver as your domain nameserver.

2. If you are using custom DNS setting, please use www.internet-webhosting.com/migration.php link to check your new IP address and make the necessary changes at your domain control panel.


VPS, Colocation & Dedicated Server Services :

1. You may need to provide us with your login details for us to help you to change the IP address of your servers. Please submit it at support.internet-webhosting.com/ .

This new facility will allow us to improve the performance and reliability of our already industry-leading services by using new network routing to ensure fast domestic and International connection, as well to incorporate green technologies designed to reduce our overall energy footprint. These include optimizing our power usage and thus lessening our consumption by using outside-air cooling technology and a higher-efficiency power system.
